Why Do People Buy Silver on Dhanteras?

Dhanteras is traditionally associated with welcoming prosperity and purchasing valuable items for the household. Silver has remained a popular choice because it combines precious-metal value, traditional significance and practical gifting options.

Depending on the family and region, silver may be purchased as a coin, pooja article, idol, lamp, jewellery or another household item. Choose an item that fits your family's tradition, budget and intended use.

999 Silver vs 925 Silver: Which Should You Buy?

One of the most common questions before buying silver is whether to choose 999 fine silver or 925 sterling silver.

Rather than assuming that one purity is automatically better for every purchase, check the product's stated purity, weight, hallmark information and specifications before ordering.
